Sara Janssen in Campgrounds, Nevada, campground, las vegas, neighbors, rv park

This particular campground in Vegas had sites that required you to pull in and back in on every other site, so your door faced toward your neighbors and you shared a common space. This is great if you like your neighbors. Luckily, we did!

Lois and David camped next to us the entire time we were in Las Vegas. They are from Canada, and they winter in Las Vegas each year at this same park...and have for 20 years! They became Bella's adopted grandparents...bringing treats, attending her "parties", and just chatting it up with her. EVERY day when Bella woke up, she wanted to run over and knock on their door to "just say hello"!

When it was sunny, several of us would gather in front of the RV's with our lawn chairs. And then we would chat. Sitting and chatting (and basically doing nothing) is commonplace in RV parks! We really enjoy getting to know the older RV'ers wherever we go...they have such great stories to tell.

We were sad to see them leave for home a few days before we left...but we have all of their contact info and hope to see them again someday! What a blessing to have met them...
